Stories by the people who matter to Art Shape

Art Shape exists to support excluded people through contemporary art and photography. This istheir first exhibition at the Tithe Barn in Brockworth and the first collaborative event assisted bypartially sighted artist Zoe Partington-Sollinger, Phil Rawle and Danny Callaghan in the UK byinvitation of Art Shape. This year Lucy Sharp, Managing Director of Art Shape invited them to workwith Art Shape on their first event in this county. The participants, supporters, staff and artistsworked together by creating a visual reflection through commentaries on the relationship of ArtShape to their own lives.

An evening of new art, art auction and music on the 3rd December 2010 followed by open house and workshops on the 4th December. The Art Ovation portraits of participants, supporters, staff and artists and their combined stories show a rapidly changing contemporary organisation that has grown over the last decade and is developing a new cultural programme into 2012 and beyond.Art works will also be shown in and around the centre and certain elements developed into permanent displays at the Brockworth Court Farm site.
